Hi, my name is Chinedu or Chin for short. My first degree was in Biomedical Science, through my Masters and PhD I later specialised in reproductive science and women's health research. I now work as a Lecturer (Education) in Biosciences.
As CEO and Founder of BioSci Toolkit, I hope this resource will be used to empower and support more students to pursue bioscience degrees as well as provide more visibility to the diversity of individuals in this sector and the breadth of opportunities.
In my spare time, I volunteer in my church's local foodbank, enjoy painting, playing sports and learning TikTok dances.

Hello, fellow bioscience enthusiasts and anyone delving into the intriguing world of biosciences! I'm Caleb Oritseju Eferakorho, currently in my fourth year of Biochemistry with a Year in Research at Imperial College London. During my placement year, I had the opportunity to engage in research at University College London (UCL). My primary bioscience interest revolves around cancer immunology, exploring how we can leverage the immune system to combat cancer. Beyond the realm of bioscience, I love singing—an integral part of my life rooted in my musically inclined family, where my Dad serves as a praise and worship leader. Currently, I actively contribute to my Church Gospel Choir and hold a position on the committee of the Imperial College Choir. My involvement extends to the committee of the Biochemistry Society. Additionally, I am passionate about films—discussing, critiquing, and analysing them is something I can do endlessly. In fact, I serve as the film journalist for Imperial College London Film society. Moreover, I discovered a newfound hobby during the COVID lockdown—baking. From cinnamon rolls to chocolate chip cookies, flan to sticky toffee pudding, I've enjoyed experimenting with various recipes and I have loved every minute😊
Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn and message me with any bioscience thoughts or questions you may have (Caleb Eferakorho).
